mechanical watchmaking with a new perspective on the culture of Japan.
SPB309J1 incorporates the caliber 6R38 automatic sight machine.
Like all existing watches in this series, the dial features the Asanoha,
or hemp leaf pattern, which has been used on Japanese fabrics since the
Heian period over a thousand years ago, and is in a traditional Japanese
"Shironeri" color, the white of raw silk.
